1. Совокупность фирм, выпускающих на рынок один товар или один вид услуг, конкурирующих между собой на рынке этого товара (услуги). В этом смысле применяются показатели концентрации производства (доли фирмы в общем производстве данного товара), концентрации рынка (доли фирм, доминирующих на рынке данной отрасли), отраслевого предложения, отраслевого спроса и др. 2. Совокупность производств, прямо, а иногда и косвенно связанных с выпуском однородных товаров и услуг, как это было, например, в СССР, где управление строилось по таким отраслям, называемым административными. 3.
